Running a community-based campaign takes resources. Expenses such as brochures, signs and postage are funded entirely through contributions from individuals in the community.
In accordance with provincial election financing rules, corporate and union donations are not permitted, and candidates may only contribute up to the same maximum amount as any other individual donor ($1,429.70 in 2026).
Every contribution — large or small — helps Teri connect with voters and share her vision for Coquitlam's future. Thank you for your support so Teri can continue working hard for all of Coquitlam!

Canadian municipal campaign contribution rules (BC)
Under the BC Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, only eligible individual donors may contribute to a local campaign. Key rules:
- You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of BC.
- Annual contribution limit: $1,429.70 per candidate (2026 limit — this amount is adjusted each year by Elections BC).
- Corporations, unions, and out-of-province donors cannot contribute.
- Cash donations are limited to $100 or less.
- Anonymous donations over $50 cannot be accepted.
- Your full name and residential address are required for every contribution.
- Municipal campaign donations are not tax-deductible.
